MSU is now a designated Bee Campus USA institution. With this designation, it is our hope to build upon our recent successes and continue to rally the Spartan community together to protect pollinators and create positive change through more learning and engagement opportunities.

Beal Botanical Garden’s Native Pollinator Garden is a living laboratory using Michigan genotype plants to provide vital habitat for essential native pollinator populations in decline. Bloom time and pollinator species diversity are being monitored to measure impact and guide improvement, creating a powerful tool for community education and inspiration.

MSU Horticulture Gardens promote an understanding of plants and the role they play in our environment and daily lives and provide a place for education, enrichment and delight of all ages.
